Symposium: "Using Your Art of Influence to Break Criminal Traditions and Create Social Change"

Event Description:
IIT Chicago-Kent will host a symposium on "Using Your Art of Influence to Break Criminal Traditions and Create Social Change." The program will include artist/activist Zainab Khan, who is featured in the new documentary film Honor Diaries, which profiles women living under criminal traditions. Ms. Khan is the development manager of the Human Development Fund. Richard Laurent, artist and co-producer of the art exhibit The Art of Influence: Breaking Criminal Traditions, and exhibit artist Paula Klozkowski Luberda will speak on the artist as activist and using art for social justice.
