Forum on Same-Sex Marriage and the Supreme Court - LIVE WEBCAST

Event Description:
Chicago-Kent's Institute on the Supreme Court of the United States (ISCOTUS), along with the American Constitution Society, Federalist Society and Chicago-Kent Lambdas, will host a Forum on Same-Sex Marriage and the Supreme Court on the second day of scheduled oral arguments in the Supreme Court cases Hollingsworth v. Perry (on the constitutionality of California Proposition 8) and United States v. Windsor (on the constitutionality of section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act). The forum will be moderated by Professor Carolyn Shapiro, and panelists will include Professors Katharine K. Baker, Steven J. Heyman and Christopher W. Schmidt. The event is free and open to the public and will be webcast live.
