Event Description
The IIT Chicago-Kent community is honored to welcome retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens for a lecture on "The Ninth Vote in the Stop the Beach Case." The invitation-only lecture will be webcast live starting at 1:30 pm at www.kentlaw.iit.edu/justice-stevens for viewing by anyone without tickets. Sponsored by the Jury Center at Chicago-Kent, the Institute on the Supreme Court of the United States (ISCOTUS), and the Jack Miller Center, Justice Stevens’ visit marks the third U.S. Supreme Court Justice to lecture at Chicago-Kent in the last 12 months.
